Bluetooth and Rechargeable Devices

Bluetooth and Rechargeable Devices

Hearing aid technology has advanced immensely over the years. Now, we are able to carry hearing aids that have some incredible features, such as rechargeability and Bluetooth. Rechargeable hearing aids are easy to use and don’t require continuous changing of batteries. Simply place them in a charging station at night and in the morning, you’ll have fully charged devices! We also carry Bluetooth hearing aids which can connect to select iPhones, iPads, and Android devices. With these hearing aids you can stream music, phone calls, and other audio directly to your hearing aids.

Choosing the Right Hearing Aids

Hearing aids aren’t a one size fits all solution. Just as everyone is different, so are your hearing needs. When choosing a pair of hearing aids, it’s important to pick a device that will accommodate your degree of hearing loss and will fit into your unique lifestyle. At The Hearing and Tinnitus Center of Dallas-Fort Worth, our audiologist will help you find the right hearing aids to address your hearing needs.

When choosing the right hearing aids, we will look at a couple factors: your degree of hearing loss and your lifestyle. Lifestyle is one of the most important factors because it will help us understand what you need your hearing aids for. Lifestyle and activity levels range from very quiet to active. We will go over the different activity levels and help you determine which fits you best.

Hearing Aid Accessories

At our hearing clinic, we carry a large selection of hearing aid accessories, assistive listening devices, and cleaning supplies to help you have a better hearing experience. Individuals with hearing loss sometimes have more difficulty hearing basic technology, such as the TV or phone. We carry assistive listening devices, including captioned telephones, that can help you with your hearing and understanding.

Many of today’s hearing aids have advanced technology, including Bluetooth. Depending on the brand of your hearing aids there is most likely a corresponding app that can be downloaded onto your smartphone. We are experienced in this technology and will help you get the app and walk you through how to use the different features.
